We are very excited about the freedom the new GCSE is going to afford us. We are going with the Edexcel Course as our school was chosen to do the trials for all the new materials so we are pretty familiar with the course.
We have begun to write our scheme of work for the 4 languages we teach (French, Spanish, German and Chinese) which hopes to incorporate the best of the former courses including the Applied French course which we have been running at the Piggott since 2004.
I would like to know what ideas people had for making the new course more fun and more meaningful?
